A new venue on the Westside in 2026, which has been enthusiastically received by the locals.
Lovin' Oven
You MUST visit Lovin' Oven and check out their range of homemade cakes and biscuits - they are amazing.
The coffee is good as is the service.
There is an open area out the front and an enclosed, air conditioned area inside.
Book in for one of their "High Teas" - amazing.
Maimalu Coffee House
One of the best coffee houses on the West Side. Consistently good quality and the friendliest of service.
As well as coffee they serve croissants and hot meals. The club sandwiches are a favourite.
This is a great place to start your day.

Don't panic - you don't have to sit amongst children!
This new cafe (2025) has great coffee and an interesting menu.
It's new and squeaky clean, so check it out.
Plenty of parking out the front too.
Koru Kulture
Koru recently opened (2025) and and made quite an impact with the Westies. The coffee and service are of top quality and the food is fresh and delicious.
There is an open seating area out the front as well as an enclosed, air conditioned area inside.
Koru also sells clothing and jewellery - a great spot to meet friends.
Cakrawala.Kopi
This venue gets good reviews from the Westies. For example, "Enjoyed a chicken and fish burger. Cooked to perfection, and amazing flavours. Enjoyed a iced latte and mixed fruit juice"
Goddes Bakery
The biggest bakery in the West. There is a huge range of breads and cakes, plus an extensive food menu.
The entire shop is enclosed and air conditioned.
PALM Coffee & Cakes
Get in quickly if you want a spicy lunch, the food goes very quickly.
A good spot for a quiet coffee and some cake.
SAI Coffee and Creative Space
Great spot for the Digital Nomads of the world (whatever that means).
Very good coffee and food and a space for you to sit and look at your screen and create.
Meyasa Cafe
Recommended by a long time expat, Meyasa cafe has beautiful grounds and no traffic noise.
A number of long term expat ladies have regular meetings here for Mahjong and other such exhilarating events.
